Things Principals Say To Teachers and Students

At (THIS SCHOOL), you leave your first amendment rights at the door. About teachers and students who work and attend and in response to several high school students choosing to wear all black and refusing to speak in order to participate in this year’s recent Day of Silence.

Remember, kids. You cannot sign away your rights, no matter what your employers or guardians think.

Making the statement monumentally more oppressive: white principal was addressing black students with no sense of irony and, apparently, no sense of the significance of civil disobedience in US History.
