Really? When you can’t even discuss, in your own words, why Zizek is an authoritarian.
Disingenuous criticism for the sake of a dis. Illustrate why I should take these typical critiques seriously, and in your own words. Until I see evidence that you’ve done your homework, I really can care less who you can quote.
Lazy tumblr intellectualism is lazy tumblr intellectualism. Why do I bother reading my tumblr feed? It’s still full of bloggers quoting other bloggers quoting other writers as if that shows some sign of intelligence and active discourse. Quotes are great. But I’d like to see some work from the people I read, and I typically don’t. I can only conclude that, like most bloggers, you haven’t actually read Zizek.
