That’s definite bigotry.” I disagree with your claim that Harris and Hitchens are only selectively critical of Judaism and Christianity, but even granting that their critiques are consistently and precisely aimed at Islam, how does that make them bigots? Is it fair to say that Islam and Jainism pose an equal threat to modernity?

I’ll permit one of my friends to explain. I’m tired of arguing with new atheists about the obvious white supremacy in their arguments on behalf of modernity. The Sam Harris Ideological Project doesn’t get any play on my blog.

You want a debate with me, reblog my original post. I’ll see the reblog, and we’ll talk about it. I don’t respond to anon demands.

It’s safe to say that if you don’t get my point, you don’t really know how modernity came to be defined as such.

Guess what? You cannot experience racism in the way you’d like to think you can. People can be mean to you, but not racist. You can experience hate, too. People can hate you. I imagine you’re feeling a little hate right now. But that’s a result of your actions.

In the US, racism is a function of white power. You were born privileged. That pain you feel when watching videos like White Girls Say… is not a result of racism. The pain is a result of you actively repressing your knowledge of white power and passively accepting your privilege rather than actively rejecting it. Your pain is a sign of you denying privilege. It’s typical for you to blame that on poc.

Wake up.

This blogger wants to be an ally so bad that she’s going to ban people of color from commenting on her posts so she can speak to white people on their behalf. What an ally! I’m surprised her blog isn’t called, STFU, POC.

The “I believe all races are equal” argument is from possessive whiteness. It explicitly denies white privilege and oppressive white power.

Simply reply to these posts with the definition for possessive whiteness.
